Pre-Release Six Romantic Sentences!

The 2nd book in my Aisle Bound series, A Fine Romance, releases on March 11. I'm super excited about it and simply refuse to wait until then to share it with the world. And if you love it as much as I do, it is available for pre-order on Amazon (yup, I'm that excited!!!!!). So without further ado, here is a sneak peak at it:

“If I win the pillow fight, would you promise to stay up all night, talking to me?”
“Sweetness, I’ll stay up all night, no problem. But we won’t be talking.” A man could only withstand so much. Sam crushed her against his chest and took her mouth. He laid claim to her, using his tongue to learn every soft and sensitive crevice.

Hot Reuben Dip-A Playoff Sunday Snack!

Many of you may be hunkered down to watch playoff football tomorrow (my Baltimore Ravens just had a spectacular, nail-biter of a game!). And what do you need to do that? Snacks! This Hot Reuben Dip is thoroughly addictive. I took it to a Christmas potluck and it disappeared before anything else on the table. This recipe is from Rachael Ray, but there are a few other variations floating around out there. Play with it - I like to add a little extra mustard and sauerkrat. I guarantee it'll be a huge it!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded or chopped, divided
  • 1/2 pound corned beef, chopped
  • 1 8-ounce package cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons spicy brown mustard
  • 1/2 cup sauerkraut, drained
  • 1 package of rye cocktail bread squares

Preparation

Preheat oven 350°F.
In a large mixing bowl, mix half of the Swiss cheese with all the ingredients except the bread squares.
Place the mixture into an ovenproof dish and sprinkle the top with remaining cheese. Heat in the oven until bubbly, about 20 minutes. Turn on the broiler and brown the top.
Serve the dip with the bread squares alongside

One Last Romantic Xmas Gasp on Epiphany

I grew up putting away all things Christmas on New Year's Day, during the Rose Bowl game. My husband, however, is a firm believer in the holiday season lasting through today - Epiphany. So on this, the last day of Christmas, I thought I'd share with you six sentences from the last page of my Christmas novella, Ask Her At Christmas. Spoiler alert, did I mention it is a romance novella? Which means a guaranteed happy ending? Trust me, the fun is in the journey to the three-hanky ending. Go on, take one more day to enjoy the season. Don't people always say you should keep the spirit of Christmas in your heart all year long? This way, you can keep it on your bookshelf, easily retrievable.

He slid the ring to her first knuckle. “Give me a merry Christmas. Give me your love.”
Caitlin slid her finger the rest of the way through the ring. Even through her tears of joy she could see the large, shining diamond flanked by two emeralds. “I don’t know, Kyle. If you give me this ring now, how on earth will you top it on Christmas morning?”
